I baked a chocolate cake tonight, and had it cooling on a plate. Well I ent in the kitchen a little later to find Issac sitting in front of it, picking little holes into the sides eating it! What a hog! At least he did it before I frosted it!

Kept my daughter's attention through the whole book! And that's a big deal for a 17 month old! She loved the bright, vivid pictures and I think she was listening to the story. Kinda.

We LOVE David Shannon in this house. This book was cute. I'd ask Alice (17 months) "Where's the doggy?" on each page, and she could point him out. And we talked about what a doggy says...
