I know how that feels. I have never really had a good relationship with my mom and on days like mothers day it hurts. DH's mom died when he was little, so I don't even have a MIL.

i know how u feel trust me my mom and i have a weird relationship but we try my MIL and i dont talk much and dh family would exclude me so i know how u feel we are the ones who do everything for her but we are the first to be forgotten for the fun stuff

Lisa, I have a wonderful mom I would be happy to share with you. Heck, all of my friends call her mom and I include you in that catagory, so you can to.
