stepchild's family?

Tara is the one that brought this to my attention, never even crossed my mine, so now I am wondering how many of you have a hard time with the stepchild's family.

My dh's one ex is absolutely nuts and her mother pretty much encourages her behavior however her sisters are all super nice ladies. My step daughter is one super sweet girl despite everything. Not much contact with the other ex and her family.

I know your ss is a good child, just not when the other side of the family indulges in bad behavior, has to be a handful at times.
