I got taken out to dinner on Saturday Flowers when DH picked me up Friday night. (He said mother day should be a whole weekend not just one day), a plant from Will that he made the lady bugs with his finger prints, Hannah made me a flower pot pen it is cute. And I got two rings one that I showed you guys and a anniversary band, a willow tree angel called Embrace from my MIL. Just an AWESOME weekend.

Poor Shari! Did he like buy it Saturday?

Dana I still think yours wins because you found it early. What we should have done was open it and start using it and pretend it wasn't your birthday present.

Okay Brittany made me a beautiful pot with some purple flower in it. She had a hadwritten card with all the things she loves that I do for her. A brown paper bag with the sponge words you are the best on it.

I bought myself a rose that they were selling at church. Bought one for my next door neighbor too and one for my SIL. Nice of me hey.

Then Randy took Trey to Walmart got Treys hair cut and got me a gift certificate to Walmart for $150. I get new clothes. Plus the summer stuff should be going on clearence pretty soon!

I was happy with mothers day and I got to spend the whole afternoon at the zoo!

Beautiful card from DH and a plant and card from the boys. Next week they are having their pics taken and I am getting the Kodak One Touch printer.

Friday Rick gave me the digital scale I have been wanting. Have to wonder about giving that as a gift, though. I asked him if he was trying to tell me something. He was properly embarassed. But I really do like it.

We spent all day Saturday building shelves in the garage, something I have wanted since we bought the house. Well, Saturday night I had to go to Walmart and get my Sunday papers. So Rick asked me to pick up the ham for my breakfast in bed. While I was there I decided to get myself flowers from the kids - 3 yellow roses with greenery and these pretty purple flowers mixed in. I spoil myself!

Sunday I got to sleep in (I always do). Rick made me my fav breakfast, the kids gave me a card, my flowers and Rick gave me a card from him. Sat in bed and read for a few hours. Then picked up a bit and took a nap. Rick cooked dinner and Bill cleaned the kitchen. A pretty good day, if you ask me!

Oh, and the card from the kids was great. It said (outside) "Happy Mother's Day from both of us". Inside it said "Twice the love, half the cost!" I loved it!
