How close do ya all think I should plan it? I did pretty good planning Kate ( the 3rd month tracking I concieved her )

So I go for my next depo shot in July and I'm contemplating that being my last shot ( it would carry me through Sept)

With Lys I was on Depo for 15 months and almost exactly one year later I concieved Kate. So the only thing I know is I dont want another August baby cause we already have a ton of things going on Aug.

Kev and I talked about having another one. So I am just tring to figure out When the best time to concieve it would be.

Oh I see... I thought he didn't want more kids....

I would gage it on how old Kate will be and if Lys will be in Kinder or a preschool more by then. Otherwise you'll have 3 underfoot everyday, KWIM? GL!

Well, I got pregnant with Issac when Rach was about 10 or 11 months old, and they're 19 months apart. I got pregnant with Ethan when Issac was about 15 months old, and they're closer to 2 years apart, and I must say it was easier this time since Issac was a little older and understood a bit more.

I have to say if I could do it over I'd have had all three of mine really close together. My oldest two are 3 years apart and fight non-stop. My younger 2 are 2 years apart and get along much better, they have more in common and it's easier to find things they can do together. It may be more work in the beginning with more being underfoot, but at the same time you are out of diapers within less years and they will all be in school relativley close together too. Good luck whatever you decide!

hmmm we probably won't even start trying til Kate is a year. So I'm thinking late 06 or 07 baby.

And he's the one who brought up having another. I had given up the possiblitly of another pne anytime soon. and then I was talking about selling the girls clothes and he said lets put them in storage. I looked at him and was like WHY do I want to keep clothes in storage? and he told me for the next one since he knows i would like another (I would like 4 all together)

I am hesitant right now to jump into it due to financial issues and the lack of him ever being home to help out. So right now Im gonna focus on geting the house all organized and debt paid down before I start TTC. I think maybe we will talk about it more in depth in the fall.

Well, my kids are twins and 14 months later is Olivia. They still fight. Yes, you finish up with diapers sooner, but potty training 2 at a time, then adding another soon after is no party either.

Remember, college tuition is a killer, we'll have 3 in school at the same time!

If my biology was in good working order, we'd have another one by now. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I'd personally space them apart more. There's nearly 4 years between my first two, which makes life much easier. Have two less than two years apart has been really rough. Double diapers, double hand holding/carrying, double preschool expenses, double the fighting.

I honestly feel like I missed out on a lot of "baby stuff" with Cody. I had to move him out of the crib early, couldn't carry him during my pregnancy (he had just turnd 1 when I found out I was pregnant), was too tired and grumpy to really enjoy him.

I wouldn't trade TJ for anything in the world, but had he been planned, I would have waited at least 1 more year to have him.

Exactly Dawn! The boys were 5 months when I found out about Olivia, they weren't walking when I was big and pregnant and I couldn't pick them up anymore. We played on the ground A LOT because I couldn't carry them. You know now they are good friends, they have a lot of the same interests, but in the end, Olivia, had she been planned, would be a year later. I get asked all the time if I have triplets! And ya know, it sure did feel like it!

So you all don't think its weird if I want to space them all 3 years apart?
Now, I only have the 2 - obviously - however, Kyler was just about 3 when Delaney was born. And... I'm extremely happy at how it's turned out. He was old enough to understand when I couldn't carry him... and even now... he understands when the baby is crying she needs "more" attention.
I can't imagine having them any closer in age!
I'm too old to try for another ... but if I did, I think I would have them at least 3 years apart. If even maybe 3 1/2 - 4.
JMO.

Good luck!!

I just kinda wann be done by the time I'm 30. And I'm slowly creeping up. I would be completely satisfied if we don't have anymore because my girls bring me some of the greatest joys! But Because of that I just want to fill my house with more

Well, Kimmy and the new baby will be almost exactly 4 years apart. We planned it this way cuz I couldn't imagine having another any sooner!

We are going to try again, need to get that girl. Anyway, I want to wait until next January to start. That way, Brandon will be 4 1/2 and will be kindergarten by the time the baby comes, and Justin will be just under or over 3 and hopefully potty trained, plus will be in preschool at least 2 days a week.
