Whew!

While I was delivering lunch to the Dungan family, my mom called and left a message saying everything was fine with the CT Scan. She sounded sincere, so I think she is being truthful about it. I feel a lot better now.
Thanks, everyone, for all your reassurance and support about my decision to let my mom's friend go with her.

Just talked to mom, and she said her doctor told her she could have her port taken out and her feeding tube. Now that IS surprising news.
