FIL emailed DH yesterday and told him that the guy that’s doing his music at church was going to be out of town for two weeks and wanted to know what DH’s June schedule was like. (They still haven't made him an offer.) Someone suggested that they fly DH down for those two weeks. I told him I couldn’t get off work that fast, or for that long. He said he didn’t think they meant all three of us. ((No, just him and the kid, I’m sure.)) Doofus butts! He started counting up all the stuff we had going on. Umm---let’s see… Graduation on the 3rd, Church work day on the 11th, Special singing on the 12th, Father’s Day (he’s preaching) and DH’s birthday on the 19th, Anniversary Sunday on the 26th…. Ummmm. Can we say ‘NO” ???? DH wrote him back and told him no. He has two of the biggest days of the year coming up and he’s worked really hard to pull this off and he’s not leaving and missing it. ((I'm sure FIL will be royally pi$$ed off.))
Then he said to me… “Besides, I never said I wanted to go anywhere."
I didn't even have to say a word. 
I asked later if he'd heard back from his dad. He said "No. He just needs to find someone to come to work for him—that’ll solve his problems and it’ll get him off my back, too.”
HE HE HE -- I love it. He has seen the light. Or the darkness--whatever. LOL!
Then he said to me… “Besides, I never said I wanted to go anywhere."
