The In-Laws strike again!

Rick and his dad carpool to work. His dad decided TODAY that he is going to take tomorrow off to go to some new casino that is opening. And he is taking his truck, so Rick has no way to get to work. So now he has to tak our car instead. Nevermind that I was supposed to take it in for an oil change tomorrow, or that I had errands to run, or that I am supposed to pick up Drew AT HIS HOUSE (he's spending the night tonight). Noooooo, just go off with Rick's transportation to work and the he!! with everyone else!

It's not that Rick had to take our car, it's that once again someone in his family has decided to do something at the last frick minute and we end up getting screwed over it. Ya know, we pay him every month so Rick can ride with him and he knows we only have one car, so we have to plan for things like this. Why, just once, can't he tell us these things a few days ahead instead of the day before when it messes up all of my plans! And of course, I can't say a thing about it!

Yes, Lisa. That is exactly where he is going. It's not that I mind it really. I have no problem with Rick taking our car to work. But I hate it when they do things at the last minute and mess up all of my plans. So now I am stuck at home waiting for Bill to get off work so I can go to the post office (again) and go get food for the BBQ tomorrow. And now I will have to resschdule next weeks plans to make sure the care gets it oil change before we leave for vacation and that I have time get everything else done. I mena, even one days notice would have helped!

Oh, and I talked to my MIl this morning and she is none to happy aboutit either. So at least I know I am not alone. I'm sure she let him know EXACTLY how she felt about it!
