The only advice I heard from my mom was "I don't care if you marry him or not, I want you outta here for even considering it." Nobody else got the chance to know, cuz we eloped!

We might have gotten tips and ideas, but didn't use them. We paid for our wedding ourselves, so felt we didn't have to!

My Dad offered to pay for a trip to Reno, Nevada if we wanted to elope. Other than that, we did it all ourselves (and paid for it all ourselves, too).
