What one thing would you fix or change in the place you live right now?

I would put tile down in the kitchen! I have carpet and I think it is so nasty to have carpet in a kitchen. But as I am just renting I really do not want to put the money into it.

if i had $ i would build a fireplace, chimney and all. At our last place we were leaving at, at the apt we had one. and loved it during the holidays. Even though its not blizzary cold here, its still nice and toasty for cold nights especially for the holidays. our house doesnt have one.

Wood floors in the living room, a fireplace, and if we had enough land I would love to make the 2 bedrooms bigger. (the master bedroom is fine!)

My dream is to redo the kitchen--I do not like the layout and the cabinets are too dark. Also if I had tha $$$$$$ I would LOVE a 4 season room. At my mom's house she has a 3 season porch that is great for the summer nights. Keeps the bugs out.

I'd expand my house about 12 feet, downstairs and upstairs. This would make my kitchen bigger. It's only 8x9 right now and it would allow me room for a 1/2 bath downstairs. Plus it would make my master bedroom bigger. it's only 10x10.

hmmmm laminate flooring on my main floor.....and a fireplace...but not a gas fireplace...i woul dwant a real one

Gutters need to be repaired and I'd like to have the shutters painted. Also a new front door and screen.

Inside.....

Small Bathroom: New floor, different color paint, different wallpaper border.

Living room: Put a different face on the fireplace and redo the hearth and mantle. Also, take out the cabinets that we don't use and remake that into a built in entertainment shelving unit. The area in front of the front door needs new flooring, too.

Dining Room is really OK, and we just did the kitchen.

Our room--make the closet bigger and paint the entire room.

Jon Jon's room - paint and put up border. have the border. Just need to paint.

Other bedroom is fine.

Main bathroom: I'd like to just have new shower curtain and decorating stuff in there.

We also need new carpet throughout the house.

If I had the money TECHNICALLY: new gutters, roof, siding, and windows

If it was just something we WANTED: add on to the 2nd story. Add a master bedroom when you walk upstairs.. turn our current bedroom into the computer room.. and turn the computer room into a formal dining room (put down hard wood flooring)
