The traits we least like in ourselves are often mirrored through our Children.

Yeah, I agree. I think kids learn by imitating what they see others, especially their parents, do. Or sometimes it's just their nature to do something that you do, whether it be bad or good. And if it's something that you don't like about yourself and your child does do it, it is something that you're going to pick up on pretty quick.
