Don't Waste Your Money On Spray N Wash Duel Action Stain Remover!!!!

I bought some Hanna pants this weekend at SA and was going to list them today so I decided to throw them in the wash last night. They looked brand new but there was some dirt or something on the back of one leg so I thought I had better pretreat it just incase it wasn't just dirt. I used that new Spray 'n Wash duel action $hit and it was only on the Hanna pants not even a minute before I threw them in the wash and the crap messed up the pants! It lightened the fabric like it had bleach on it! Soooo mad! I could have easily gotten close to $10 or more for just those pants!
So I would NOT recommend using this stuff and I WILL be calling the customer service number on the back of the bottle even though I am sure it says somewhere on it to test the fabric first but I don't care! If it does then it should say it in bigger letters!

Okay, done my griping-just really wanted to warn ya'll so you don't ruin anything! Thank GOODNESS it didn't mess up the Gymbo dress that I had pretreated and then just thrown down the stair and left! I thought for sure that would have a hole burnt threw it or something then!

I hate it too. I have not ruined anything but it sure does not get out stains for me. I am sticking to my Oxi.

Thanks Liz, I was thinking that I might since they are printed and the spots are not that noticable. Still upset though

I'm sorry you have problems with it. I have used it on Kate's stuff and havent had any problems and have had GREAT luck getting stains out.

I was going to try this stuff, but I won't be now. I recently discovered Oxy and love it.

The only time i have had a problem with that stuff so far is when I let it sit on something of liz's for a few days....then it bleached it out BUT I have used it on Nicholas' onesies and stuff and it has gotten a lot of the stains out....like grape juice and spagetti sauce

I also wanted to try this stuff. Thanks for the info I won't be using this on my clothes. I will also have to stick to my oxy. It works almost evertime. I LOVE IT!

Yeah Michelle, I can understand it if it was sitting for a couple of days but this was on for literally less then a minute. I applied it right before I went downstairs to put a load into the washer with it. Still so bummed about it. Glad to hear that it has worked for you on other things though.

Yep.....oh and it works great if you pour some right into your wash with your whites!!!!

I have tried Oxi on stuff and have not had much luck...I wonder though if I make my own solution of spray n'wash and oxi if it woudl work better???

I have been wondering if that stuff was good...thanks for letting us know before we buy

The absolute best stain remover is Zout. I swear by it. I have used it on everything and it takes stuff out that you wouldn't believe.
