All in the family are the guest or not guest in your home?

Do you let the family make them selves at home or do you serve them and act as if they are a guest in your home?

I treat them like family they go and get what they want. I always offer but tell them, help yourself to anything.

Depends who it is. I mean my parents don't snoop through my house. MIL on the other hand would probably visit every room.

They know where the kitchen is. If they get hungry or thirsty they can go get it themselves. Just ask Heather

I am not switching the stuff around in my cabinets

And they can make themselves at home AND clean up after themselves, goes for friends and family

I tell them to help themselves, but I offer first also.

And I make myself at home at my mom's house I am comfortable getting myself a drink at my IL's without asking too.
