I have a friend who has learned that she has basically no chance of having a baby naturally or with fertility treatments, so she and her husband are looking into adoption. She has reservations about it, though, and while I know many people who have adopted, I thought I would get on the boards and see if any of you have adopted children and ask about your experiences to share with her.
So, I am looking for adoptive parents and encouragement for my friend. Thanks!

I know April (can't remember her baby u name) adoped children from Russia, I believe. Have we seen her around the site lately?

Dana (ryann2) adopted her 2 boys and were considering adopting again.

April(purplepreg) adopted two six month old babies from Russiain december of 2003. They are doing great, they will be 2 this month. It was a tough transition for her and her DH at first, but things are fairly smooth sailing now. She doesn't get on much anymore because she doesn't sit still long enough to have time.....and right now her computer is fried.

Actually, she was a member, put now she never posts. I don't know why. Do any of you remember Abbi? She used to post in the TTC forums???
