Here's a Question

I'm not ttc, just curious.... How long can sperm live inside of a woman? And when you're looking at the pregnancy calculator, it says a little fertile, fertile, and then very fertile. So let's say a woman is ttc, would it have to be on a day she was fertile, or would a day or so before work? (Sorry if I sound like a complete idiot! Daniel and I never really looked into this when we were ttc, we just had lots of )

I think your supposed to have sex on all 3 of those days that you are a little fertile to very fertile.

That is right, you have sex from the time you are a little fertile through the time you are very fertile.

I think I remember hearing in sex ed in high school that sperm can live as long as 7 days inside of you.

OK so let's say a person has sex 5 days before they're very fertile, could they get pregnant?

Meghan are you hinting at something?? I suppose it's possible. That would be close enough.

In the book The Fastest Way to Get Pregnant Naturally, written by a doctor, it says two to three days is how long sperm can live in a woman's body. An unfertilized egg can only survive for 12 to 24 hours, though.

OK I was mostly just curious, but also I had been having some weird symptoms. But I'm thinking that because I tried getting back on birth control, and it just didn't work out so I quit, I'm thinking that just screwed with my hormones.

And I think if you want a girl, you start before you are fertile, because girl sperms live longer so the chances of a girl are better. I know I will be trying that!!!
