JOB

Most of it was going to daycare....... and the aggrivation of getting the kids up early... rushing home to get dinner going....bath time....bed time......day is gone and i am grumpy , tired and in no mood for

i gave my two week notice today so next friday, july 1st is my last day. i stayed home and babysat briefly with my son but went back to work when he was a little over two. at the time..i was babysitting and taking care of my grandfather and my MIL would always make comments working or not working. she stayed home with all of her kids until the youngest was in high school. one day they were visiting and my husband said he needed a vacation........i said ( jokeingly) oh me too...........she says......." your on vacation everyday!! "
so when i do go to work.......she says well i stayed home with mine....didnt pay people to watch my kids........HELLOOOO.

so needless to say dh and i are keeping this to ourselves and when i do tell everyone they can he makes pretty good money...........and if we are very very very careful.....we'll be find...........i can always find something in the evenings or child care in my own home.........we just moved here so i dotn know anyone to ask........but i'm just happy i'll be home with them more...
do you all have those mil who you just can't please????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Kan yes I have a MIL that can not be pleased. If you feel it is the right thing to do in your heart and mind then it is the right thing to do, seems like DH is behind you. I am happy for you.

Sounds like the right decision to you and your family.

You can't make everyone happy, so just worry about you and DH and the kiddos. Everyone else needs to mind their own business!

fortunatly i'm lucky to be able to do this, so i am grateful for that. some people have to work full time out of the home.........but when you have the opportunity...take it. i dont feel bad about it at all.........cause when i drop them off in the morning and see there sad faces........i dont think twice. :-)

if july 1st could just get here a little sooner........good grief the time is dragging. lol.

My MIL was the same way till i told her off one day then she stopped for the most part now she is much more compassionate that i keep a clean house and food hot for the kids and she sees that her son is happier cause im home so that made her see a lot of things differently and she knows i dont care what she thinks anymore so it doesnt thrill her to say those mean things anymore gl with your MIL i hope it all works out for ya
