At least that's what DH calls him....
My grandma called me at work Monday. She wanted my home number. She has it. I've given it to her SEVERAL times, but she still continues to call the OLD number.
Not sure why. Anyhow.
After I give it to her, she says my it's my dad that wants my phone number.
I was a good little child and sent him a Father's Day card. I let Jonathan scribble all over the inside.
So, now I guess he wants to talk to me. Funny. He hasn't called me since I had surgery when Jonathan was 6 months old. Almost three years ago. I haven't seen him since I went to TX when Jonathan was 11 months old. 2 1/2 years ago. And he didn't make any attempt to see us when we were there last year. Yet NOW he wants my number. How convenient.
I guess I should be happy that he even has any desire to make an attempt to contact us at all. But why do I just keep thinking "UGH!!!!" every time it comes to mind????
He's gonna say he loves me and he misses me and he wishes he could see me. Ummm... OK. And he's gonna dribble on about how James is gone now and he never gets to see them. Ummmm... OK. And how is health is bad. Ummmm... OK.
YOU DID IT TO YOURSELF!!!!! You alienated me when you were married to wife #2. Wife #3 tried to straighten you out and he drank that one into the ground. James had to move away because you were such a bad influence on him and he had no money because he was constantly getting you out of debt. Nobody wants their kids to have a drunk grandpa. You knew you had health problems. Drinking is just gonna make them worse. You sat around and squandered your money and then your ex-girlfriend bailed you out so your house wouldn't go back to the bank; you broke up and now she owns it!
