Which would you prefer?

If you were going to buy one of these "seats", which one would you go with?

I wanted both when Delaney was smaller. And... Dan talked me out of it.

If you had a choice, which one do you think you'd like better?

This one:

Or this one:

(Sorry, I haven't figured out how to post URL's yet.)

From what I've heard, the bumbo seat is really good.

But the other one with the toys seems like it'd be fun!

I'm no help, am I?

Considering I want the second one, I'll say the second one!

My SIL had one that she had with her older girls (9&7) and used with her youngest (2) and it was still in great shape. I think she's given it away though. I really wish I'd gotten one when Elizabeth was born but I talked myself out of it. I'm thinking it'll be a great Christmas gift for this baby.

I think the 1st one looks safer for the real young babies, theother one looks like they may be able to topple out of easier ?

I never saw either of these. The first one looks more stable because it holds onto their legs. I know I tried to use my boppy pillow like the 2nd one, but when they sat against it, it would slide backwards, so they would fall over. If it keeps from slidding, I would go with the second one just because it looks like more fun then the other one.

Like I said, I saw my SIL use this with three of her kids and because it's made for kids to sit or be propped against, they don't slide like you would think. It does say starting around 5 months is the best age to use it, usually when they're starting to sit up on their own some. My nieces loved it. Sometimes if they weren't sitting up well on their own, she would put their backs up against the couch and put this in front of them so they could play and if they fell, they'd fall on it.

Plus the first has stuff for them to do so it's something you can carry with you places without having to take so many toys. And if I remember correctly, you can take the toys off and put different ones on to keep their interest. The first is just a seat for them so to me it wouldn't be worth the money.

But everyone has their own opinion!
