I'm doing the games for my SIL's shower this Sunday. Seeing how it's Thursday, and I'm posting this NOW..it's a good guess I'm NOT prepared. LOL

So. We did this one shopping game at my shower for Livia where people would guess at the cost of various baby items, and whoever won would get the prize, and Mom got the goodies (clothes basket, powder, baby spoons, things like that). We also did a baby word scramble. I don't remember the other games, I'm such a loser.

There are going to be TONS of people there, probably 60 or so, so the baby-food-in-the-diaper game won't work unless I want to buy lots of baby food. She also isn't into things like guessing how many squares of toilet paper go around her belly (Me either, they don't make rolls big enough for that!)

Any other games suggestions?

How about a word search? That way you are handing paper out and let them do. Fill a baby bottle with jelly beans and have them guess how many are in there. Make a diaper cake as a centerpiece and have guests guess how many diapers are in it.

This isn't a game but they did this at a shower I went to and it was a riot. Have someone right down phrases the new mother says as she is opening gifts, then take the ones that could have "double" meanings and at the end of the party, say something like I talked to your DH and he said the night you conceived the baby, these are the things you said to him. It was so funny. There were things like, Wow, I didn't know it was that small... It's purple.... etc.

Jen, they did that last one at my shower. I was cracking up! I don't think my SIL would go for that though.
