July 2005 Savings Challenge

I just realized that we haven't done this in a while, so I want to get it started up again. Please post your total amount paid and total amount saved so we can figure the percentages saved at the end of the month. Thanks ladies!

A friends company was closing their office, so we got to go over and get some stuff for FREE! I am going to give approximately what they cost. Everything is practically brand new, so getting it for free just saved me a bundle!

Sofa $650
Loveseat $400
Recliner $400
2 end tables $200
coffee table $150
small book table $30
corner lamp $20
twin size pillowtop mattress $250
refrigerator $400

So all told I saved $2500.00! I'm doin a happy dance tonight!
