Co-Sleeper

Does anyone have one of THESE or one similar? We bought one this weekend because this baby will be sleeping with us some and we want to make sure he's safe. We didn't have one with the other two because we had a bed rail that I would put up and put the baby in-between that and me. But now the older kids have it on their bed and I didn't see needing to buy another right now, plus this will give Billy a chance to help out more during the night.

Just wanted to get some opinions on them. Thanks!

Nah I never had one...I think the idea is good, but just don't think they'd work for us...too bulky in the bed, esp since Rach was sleeping with us at the time!

Thankfully we have a king size bed, so we have the room for it. And the other two kids are in their own bed now, so we don't have to worry about room for them. I'm hoping it's money well spent.

Personally I never had one - Lys always slept in her own crib and I just didnt get one for Kate cause like Becca we dont have the room in our bed.

I do know people who have bought them - but I don't know how they liked em.

Sorry I guess I'm not much help

I never had one, but if I had I would have let the kids stay in our bed longer. We have a king, but I was always worried that I would roll over onto them. I think it is a great idea, tho!

We'll be finding out very soon if it was a good purchase or not!

I have that exact same thing, same brand and everything.
We found it easier just to leave Liv in the bed between us without it; it's kind of bulky. BUT I will say that while she was very small it was a nice thing to put her in for naps on the floor. Good idea in concept, but for us, it just didn't work really well.

YES, I LET MY BABY SLEEP ON THE FLOOR!

Our kids slept on the floor for naps as well.

And I also thought this would be a good thing to take when we went to visit people so the baby would have a place to nap, so I'm hoping we can use it for more than just the bed. And knowing that the kids like to come in my bed some mornings after Billy leaves, this will hopefully help keep them from rolling on the baby.

The co-sleeper we got was one that looked like a small crib missing a side. It strapped under the mattress so it didn't move, and the mattress was level with our mattress. It was great and I wish I would have gotten one when I had Brandon.

One of those would be nice if we had the room and it would make nursing laying down so easy.

We have a king bed, too, but still, Rach was everywhere

I just put them in the crib... Or on a blanket on the floor! I had a craddle for Brittany but not Trey.
