PPAF or Not?

I have a dilemma....I breastfed ds until about a week ago He was 12 months 1 week old. I have not had ppaf. So it ended up being good timing b/c I have an appt with my fertility doc on Friday. It was just going to be to discuss our gameplan for when he weans but now since he weaned we can get busy! For the last 4 days I have had brown spotting only when I wiped. Well today I wore a pad but it was still only a tiny bit and brown. This is not ppaf, right? I have to wait for red, correct? I want to start using my ClearPlan Fertility Monitor and need to turn it on on CD 1. What do you think....is af imminent? I had really crazy irregular cycles b.f ds after dd was born. I ended up using clomid and doing IUI to have ds. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't THINK this would be considered AF. Maybe it's the start of it??
I really don't know.
At least you have your dr appt on Friday!

Let me know how your appt goes!

Of course I will. I just don't know if it'd be better have it start now or what. I think you jinxed me the other day when you said, "You're going on 2 years with no af!" See I htink the doc will give me clomid to take days 3-7 or 4-8. So if I get it tomorrow Friday will be CD 5. I know I am getting ahead of myself since I don't really even have af. Ugh. I am starting the ttc obsessiveness (is that even a word??) a little early.

I was going to respond "ha! About time you got it!" hee hee.

You are allowed to obsess!

I don't know what to tell you, but I would ask your doctor. I hope all goes well at your appt. Keep us posted.

My DH and I also used Clomid and IUI to conceive our first Brianna and as well the twins. Good luck to you.
