No real schedules in the summer but on school days the boys get up at 6:30am, get dressed and eat breakfast and if time they watch some cartoons. Then it is out the door by 7:40!

We haven't been on a schedule in the morning since I lost my job. I just told Dan tonight that we have to change it NOW. This also includes getting the kids to bed earlier. We are going to have a problem in a few weeks when Kyler has to be at school on time!

Our weekday schedule for Ryan:

Wake up 6am'ish- drink Oj / small snack
Watch Caillou while I shower-
Get dressed when I get dressed-
Head off to school - then breakfast at school ...

I imagine now that I will be working from home and cut out my hour commute to work I will be changing this so we can eat breakfast together at home - but the weekend schedule is a mess.

We sleep until we wake up - eat whenever - its just bad. Since Scott normally gets up with Ryan on the weekends I stay in bed for an extra hour loafing, they are usually playing and not eating - so when I get up and around - its already mid morning -

Things are different this year since Michael is going to a different school, and Christian will be in middle school, and 2 of the boys can have breakfast at school. It should go something like this..

6:00am- I wake up..shower(have much needed coffee)
6:30am-Wake boys, Christian eats(breakfast at middle school is ala carte and I am not paying prices that vary. He is just going to eat at home).
6:45am-Brush teeth, wash up(showers are the night before)
6:55am-Get dressed, brush hair
7:10am-Get bookbags ready
7:18am- Christian and Devon go outside to wait for bus(they will be attending a different school district than Michael)
The bus comes between 7:20 and 7:25 after that I plan to load up Kiera, Nick and Michael and take Michael to school(he needs time to eat breakfast to, so we leave a little early).

When we get back from taking the boys to school I plan to feed Nick breakfast then(and Kiera to when she starts eating solids). He doesn't like to eat early so I don't bother.

In the summer the kids wake ME up btween 8 and 9.

I get dressed. Then find Christian & Kel their clothes.
We eat breakfast
Brush teeth.

Then play for a while and do whatever else the day brings us.

When preschool starts. It is up at 6:30.

I'll do my exercises, get my shower. Get Christian & Kelsey up around 7:30. Watch cartoons, while I make breakfast. Eat, brush teeth, get dressed(if not there will be toothpaste everywhere). I make sure to check his preschool folder to make sure there is everything he needs in it. Then I try to be out the door by 8:30-8:40.

I come home at 9 and leave here again at 11:10 and back at noon for lunch and I check Christian's backpack and then we just sorta play around and stuff.

Since it is summer there is no schedule. I am up at 5:30 daily usually followed by Abby, then Maddie and lastly Gavin. kids play a bit then have bfast. Get dressed.

During school last year:
5:30 Meg up and dressed. Coffee and chat with Court.
6:00 wake up kids
6:30 breakfast and get dressed
7:00 finish getting everyone ready for the day
7:30 out the door for school.

Not sure how it is going to work once school starts again. We will be walking to school so will have to walk everyone.

Our schedule varies if we have medical appts but so far when we start homeschooling in September it will be:

waking up by 9:00 AM and go to bathroom, wash face, brush teeth

getting dressed around 9:15 AM

Playing or watching PBS while I make breakfast.
breakfast is usually around 10 AM or 10:30 AM because Michael does not like to eat early.

Cleaning up toys left over night in the living room and getting our materials ready for the day's learning at 10:45 AM

Starting our homeschooling by 11 AM taking a break for lunch at noon
and resuming after that.
