They is a differance in juices. Some have way more sugar than others so if you are worried about sugar you shoud check the labels to see how much sugar they have before you buy them(that's what I do).

Oh yeah... juices are definitely not created equally. JuicyJuice is one that is 100% juice which is tons better than something like CapriSun but also has a lot of sugar in it I think.
I buy the reduced sugar OJ for myself but my kids love it and end up drinking the majority of it. For them I usually buy the refridgerated juice blends.

When Elizabeth was younger...I bought Juicy Juice just because it was 100% juice. I haven't bought any in a while...she mainly will drink milk. Also she has 2 teeth (molars) that needs to be worked on so I am trying to stay away from Juice or if I give it to her I will brush her teeth afterwards. But Hawaiian Punch has some new punch that has 2 grams of sugar. It is made with Splenda...a dentist I took Elizabeth to told me that Splenda was much better than sugar. Or for the teeth it is.

I read all labels now...watching for sugar.

My doctor reccomends that it be 100% juice. I know caprisun is not, but my boys get that when it's on a good sale. It's a fun treat for them.

I care very much as to what kind of juice my kids get. I make sure that they are getting 100% juice, with no sugar added 95% of the time and only once in a while will I buy "punch" type juices. My kids also still get their juice really diluted.

They get Juicy Juice because that's what we get on WIC.

They drink the store brand 100% juice.

I never buy the punch drinks anymore, even though they are cheaper. If I let them have soda(rare), it is usually diet. Silly thing is they prefer the diet.

I don't really bother with the brands, I just get generic white grape juice, since they (the magazines) say that is the best kind of juice to give them. I have bought capri sun when it was on a good sale, as it was a nice treat and rhyne thought it was really cool
