Late Fall / Early Winter Birthday Ideas ….

I know it’s early, but I am somehow trying to look ahead to plan Ryan’s 4th birthday party (for November). I want to plan early, because I am due October 24th, and I do not want the new baby to take up so much time that Ryan’s birthday is neglected….

For the last few years, we just had family over to our house for a small bday party. Its hard to predict November weather, so its been inside – pizza, cake, presents – that’s it. However, now that Ryan is getting older – we will be inviting a few of his friends, and I will be inviting my friends and their kids to the party (and in my family alone we are just growing in size) that I do not think / want to do it at our house (esp with maybe having a 2-3 week old baby).

Any thoughts? I was thinking maybe a bowling party? Rent the lanes out and have pizza and cake at the bowling alley, something some of the kids maybe haven’t done yet … but if I bring Aidan with me (which of course I would) I think a bowling alley may be a bit too loud for a newborn. There is always chuck e cheese too – but does anyone have any good ideas??

I need help! The sooner I get this organized the better

Lauren's b-day is Oct. 26th, so I'm thinking about having a "pumpkin" party for her. A little bit birthday party, a little bit halloween party.

Bowling alley should be OK. I had Lauren to ours when she was about 6 weeks old. Never phased her. (Dh's Christmas party.)

Good luck!

Let me tell you ... Chuck E Cheese is TEN TIMES louder than a bowling alley!

Do you have a children's museum nearby? How about a Putt Putt?

We kind if live far away from alot of things - no museum really but we do have a mini golf a few towns away - and it has a game room- but I am not sure about the weather, November 13th could be COLD - could be snow, could be 70- degrees with Indian Summer - so that is a thought I will look into - Thanks!!!
