Car seat info/help Latch type

Hello! I'm looking for info on the new type of car seats that are
"latch" compatible. Does anyone know of any being produced yet that have the rigid Latch latches, not the flexible attachments?
I'm a 51 year old first time grandfather and I want one of these and have not been able to find one yet, I'v tried babiesrus and such and noone seems to know anything

I'm sorry I can't help you. I am not even sure what you are talking about. My carseats are flexible (I think) not rigid.

Welcome, and I wish I could help. BUt I also am not sure what you are talking about. You might try going to the websites for Cosco, and the other baby seat manufacturers....they might be able to help.

addional info

what i mean by rigid is;
the newer cars have mounting points built in to the seats that the new "Latch" compatible seats can mount directly to. The cars seat belts are not even used, all the attachments and belts are part of the infant seat. There are supposed to be seats availible that have rigid buckle like attachments that snap on to the mounts in the car and you won't have to adjust anything, the car seat will literally "snap" into the car. of course, if its forward facing, you'll have to attach the tether, but how hard is that?

Your best bet is to probably email places like Evenflo, or Cosco and stuff and see if they have what you are looking for, or they might know what company does. Hope you find it
