How to get AF back

Hello everyone,

I just had a quick question. I haven't had AF since June, I have taken pregnancy tests and they all have come back negative. Do I have to ask my doc for something? Not sure what to do.
Thanks in advance.

I don't really know, but I heard a lot of woman on here with the same problem talk about something the doc gave them. I know Cheryl should definetely know.
Hope you get AF soon.
Hey, you can have mine due Sunday, because I sure as heck don't want it!!!

I wasn't TTC at the time, but I recently went about 4 months without a period and the doctors wanted to check me out to make sure my hormones were not out of whack. I'd give the doctor a call because I'm sure there's something they can do to help!

Hi Terra. We're ttc #3 also. I didn't get ppaf back until I stopped breastfeeding at 12 months, 1 week. Then I got it back. That was 8/1. So now I am hoping I get it back again at the end of this month. I've already met with my doc and discussed what to do if it doesn't come back.....I have a script for a blood test for progesterone. If my prog. level is less than 2 then they will give provera to induce af. I believe they will give the provera for 2 weeks but last time I took it I got af in about 3-4 days after starting it. Then I stopped taking it. HTH. I've also taken provera b/f when we were ttc #2 without taking the blood test as long as you are SURE you are not prego.

Hi Terra...I was just wondering about you. How are you?

You probably want to talk with your md. Your md can put you on a prescription to start your AF. There might be something else going on.

My dr always gave me Prometrium when I didn't get AF on my own. You might want to ask your dr about that...and see why you aren't starting. Knowing the reason behind it helps.
