What can I do with Nick's age?

I did homeschool preschool(he was 4) with Devon and he is in the top of his class so I definitely want to do some work with Nick before he goes to school. Also he will be starting a year late due to his birth date. I WISH I had done the same thing with Michael but he was my first and I was not so smart in that area. What kind of things can I do with Nicks age? Do you know of any good sites for activities for his age?

can you do stuff with counting or colors? (or does he know that stuff already?) I cant remember what I did with Lyssa then.

Go to www.letteroftheweek.com They have things for ages 0-8 years old. I wish I started Elizabeth on this when she was 1 instead of now. I get my lessons from this website...its wonderful...I love it.

Thanks!

I haven't really gone out of my way to teach him much yet since I have been busy with being pregnant and a newborn, but I figured while the boys were in school I could do some lessons/crafts with him everyday. He knows his body parts and counts to 3 in english and spanish. He says ABC in spanish. I figured those are signs that he is capable of more.

When Elizabeth was 1...we lived in a crappy apartment where I didn't like...was depressed most of the time, but didn't realize it until later. I stayed on the computer most of the time so I never really thought about teaching Elizabeth. I did teach her body parts...simple things. I always said that when she started talking we would really start teaching, but it hit me one day like a ton of bricks...if I would try to teach her things...read to her then maybe she will start talking. That's what happened...I checked out a book from the library called Brown bear brown bear what do you see...I read it to her about 50 thousand times a day...the next week at wa-mart she said I see car...honey I thought I would pass out...I think that was her first sentence.

I'm sorry to tell you my story...I just get side tracked sometimes.

i think this is a great idea. i added that website to my favorites. Raymond goes to preschool and will be in preschool for 2 years for the same reason hes birthday falls later. so i think that i will make some time and do these activities with him during the wk
