Bad Pain, Ovulation????

Ugh. It's getting worse as I sit here. I take my temp every morning and chart it to detect ovulation. My temps aren't going up but it's a new thermometer and I wonder if they aren't a bit flat b/c it's not working right. Anyway, I also use a Clrea Plan Fertility Monitor. It was low, low then went to high on Tues. then Peak yesterday and today. So Peak means ovulation will occur in 24-48 hours. I felt twingy pain on my left sdie Tues night. Then it came back yesterday and last night. This morning I get up and it is so bad! I just had to go lay down b/f I could finish this. I called dh at work and he says, "I can't leave". Thanks a lot!! I have never called him and asked him to come home from work. EVER. You'd think he might consider the fact that I am in that much pain.

It's still on my left side mostly. Tender, very low. And I have that heavy feeling that comes with ovulation. Like my stomach is full. I remember Shari said her first ovulation after giving birth was painful. This is killing me! It feels like when I o'd and got prego with Zach. So that's a good sign. I had an iui and they said I might have cramping. But I think it was o pain. It felt just like this. I was out at the store and had to hold on to the display and doubled over in pain. It was all I could do to hold the cart and make it to our car. I went home, slept and felt better when I woke up. Sore but not crampy anymore.

Well I don't have that luxury. I just gave Zach a drinkable yogurt and milk for breakfast--bad Mommy. I am so sore I can't stand up long enough to get him in his highchair and fed. Sitting here is killing me. I feel liek I am going to puke. I hope this passes soon. Anyone have any idea what's happening.

Here's a link to my chart if anyone knows about that...

I can't say that I know what you are going through, but I have heard about cysts causing a lot of pain at times. I hope you're doing better!

Thanks girls. I do feel better. Just sore now. Maybe we'll get a baby out of it!!! I am just happy that my body is cooperating after being out of commission for so long with being pregnant and then breastfeeding.

The night before I found out I was pregnant...I was in Wal-Mart...feeling like I was going to pass out, throw up and having side pains all at the same time. I thought a cyst busted...so I went to the dr telling them that and they came back and told me I was pregnant.

I have had really bad pains sometimes too, I had thought I might have had endrometriosis, but the dr has never said anything, so I doubt I do. I hope it easies up for you and maybe you'll get preggo and not have to deal with it for a while!

My first thought was an ovarian cyst. I had them on both ovaries for several months and had pain just like you described. I would be sitting at my desk just crying. The first time it happened though, I went to the doctor after school. He prescribed some GOOD medication (sorry, can't remember the name of it) that I was supposed to take at the very onset of the pain (it was MUCH stronger than cramps so I knew) and the pain would be gone within a half hour. I remember one time I was at the mall with my bridesmaids shopping for my wedding dress and the pain came just like that! I took a pill and was back to normal within a half hour! Thank goodness for those pills whatever they were!
Good luck. If it happens again, I would go to a doctor though.
