A friend of mine drank some and it put her in labor the next morning. I'm scared to mess with any of that stuff though.

A lady I worked with took that...I think she took like a teaspoon...I think. She was in labor either that night or the next morning.

She told her doctor...boy did she get in trouble!!!!

My only advice is ...DON'T!
I know 2 people it put into labor...both had horrible diareah throughout labor and horrible stomach cramps between contractions. The one womans uterus became so iritable they had to slow her labor with meds, putting her into labor even longer.
The other three people who I know who tried it got nothing but horrible stomach cramps and a bad case of the oily poops! One even got the added benifit of a huge hemorroid!

i have heard tons more horror stories than success stories....i vote for not doing it!

OK I did it with my son....I vowed if I ever got pg again that there was NO WAY ON GODS GREEN EARTH that i would ever do it again. Unless you want to $hit through the eye of a needle at 40 paces and have cramps from Hades that make AF feel like a saint........oh yeah and it did put me into labor BUT it lasted 20 hours only to end up in a c-secton as my labor stalled

Never did it - too freeked out by horror stories - I'm a firm believer in waiting for mother Nature to take its course (unless a dr decides to induce or c-section - thats a different story)

I wouldn't do it either... too afraid!!

Okay I second mother nature. I was 2 weeks overdue with both of mine. I just waited naturally.

DON'T do it!! I did it when I was pregnant w/ Bailey. She was my 2nd baby. I labored w/ my 1st for 13 hours and b/c I was impatient and HUGE w/ Bailey I downed a few TBSP of Castor Oil AND drank Raspberry Zinger Tea. I had diarrhea for HOURS. It was disgusting and quite painful. My labor lasted 24 hours and that was w/ the help of Pitocin. I totally regret doing that. And I will never do it ever again. My Dr. got SOOOOOOO mad at me for doing it. And she said that's why my labor took so long...the baby wasn't ready.

I've heard both horror stories and success stories from it. I did try it(a whole 4oz bottle!!!) and all it gave me was diarrhea that wasn't too bad and period cramps plus it made me vomit. You can imagine how angry I was when I DIDN'T go into labor. There's a 50-50 chance that it will work so who knows.

The friend who suggested I take it took it with her first baby. She downed 8 ounces of that stuff, went to bed and when she woke up her water broke. She had a smooth 10 hour labor. She was only 38 wks at the time. Thinking that I got excited about it but didn't know at the time that it doesn't work for everyone! Grr...
