When you go into labor... (for those with one or more children already) have you planned who your child/ren are going to stay with?

Michael will either stay with Tim or stay with my parents. We had orginally planned to have Michael present but I am now sure how he will react...

Absolutely! My parents kept my kids both times for as long as I needed them too. I had my 2nd son on my 1st son's 4th birthday, so my parents went ahead and had the birthday party and did everything.

When the twins were born, my parents kept both boys for 5 days and took them to and from school which was about 30 miles away from where they lived.

for us it all depended on the time of day. I went into labor at 11pm at night - so we called grandma who lived closest to the hosptial and dropped her off on the way there (they offered to pick her up at the hosptial but I said I could make it)

If it would ahve been suring the day it probably would have been Kev's brother's place since they live like 2 blocks from us. But since they have a young child too we didnt want to call them so late.

Yes.

Darien stayed with my parents because my MIL was taking care of my SIL (Dying of cancer) when Jonas was born.

One boy stayed with my parents and one boy stayed with my In-Laws when Leah was born.

I had everything planned, Jake who was 19 months at the time was just going to stay with us and I was going to labor as long as I could at home. Then my sister and my neice were going to meet us at the hospital so they could take pictures and watch Jake while he attended the birth. Afterwards he was to stay with my sister till we got out of the hospital. Everything went according to plans. (even got to the hospital at 10 cm and Jake was great through the whole process)

he will probarly stay with our aunt and uncle. hopefully if hes Nana flies down here, she can watch him.

This was one of my biggest concerns.

Kyler went to my sister Dee's house. She watched him while I was in labor. Then... he came back home with Dan.

I really didn't have a plan..

Luckily I was induced before I went into labor on my own. My Dad kept Austin the night before so Matt and I could get up early and head to the hospital without having to disturb Austin and wake him up.
