Dress up/Birthday Party for my daughter

My daughter will be turning 7 years old and she has informed us that she doesn't want to share a party with her younger sister anymore. She has made her own friends and bless her heart she has really never had her own party except her 1st birthday which was pretty big but her second birthday was throwed together at a breakfast buffet with only a few people(due to her baby sister being due to come) So anyway my mom suggested a dress up type party sence her birthday is Oct. 27th.

So I was wondering if you knew any refreshments I could serve, Games we could play and decorations that we could use. I don't want it to be a Halloween Party but a dress up Birthday party for her. I do plan on using the colors Orange and Black.

I hope this makes sence and please feel free to give me any suggestions they all will be appreciated. Thanks sooo much!!

I saw the cutest garden party. They made individual cakes in small clay pots, took gerber daisies/zinnia's and wrapped tin foil the stems. They decorated with chocolate frosting and crushed chocolate cookies to look like potting soil and then stuck the flower in it. They made giant flower tableclothes out of different colored material. Yellow for the round center, and then colors for the petals sewn together. They made tea party hats to take home as favors. It was absolutely adorable. They could all come dressed up to that.

Brittanys 4th birthday party was a dress up tea party. I rented tea party and costumes from this company. I made pampered chef loaf of bread in heart shape. Made peanut butter and jelly. Had apple juice and milk in the tea pot.
