My MIL is such a bitch!! She called today .. she was first SHOCKED that I was home .. I have not told them that I'm at home full-time .. and then she proceeded to talk about how Stan was doing .. Is the Lyme disease better .. blah blah blah ... I blocked out half of it anyway. I told her he was still hurting, it is going to be a long haul until he is 100% but he is taking his medication and he changed his doctors appointment next week from Tuesday to Friday because of a funeral.

She had the BALLS to say that he didn't need to go to this funeral because "they're not even family". Ok ... Sylvia is my sister .. maybe not by blood, but she is my sister. This is her MIL's funeral and we are the only family she has left on earth. So I'm going to be there for her and if my husband wants to be there to support me and my family then it is his f(*&*ing business!!!

She went on to say that he had missed "her" relatives funerals before and that he could just miss this one ...

He is not close to her family .. HAS NEVER BEEN. And if he choose to NOT go to a funeral it is his choice! He is a grown man!

How dare that cow say such ****!

That sounds like my mother...poor me!! lol

You should have said well since Stan is a grown man he didn't feel he needed your permission.

I've just learned to ignore her and roll my eyes at her .. she is just trying to "get my goat" and I don't let her anymore!
