Screw you Sis!

I was gone all day at the Stonewall Jackson Jubiliee. My sister left me a dramatic message to call her immediately when I get home. So I get home a few minutes ago, 10 pm my time, 9 pm her time. And her dh chewed me out for calling in the middle of the night. I said "Middle of the night?! It's 9 o'clock. Is Christine there?" So he hands the phone to her. She says, "It's the middle of the night. The twins are asleep." I said, "You said to call you immediately when I got home and just got home." And then she chews me out a bit more, in about one sentence I say, "Fine, bye." And hung up on her. Don't call me like it's life and death and not expect me to call you back like its life and death if you are going to bed at 9 pm on a Saturday night!

I don't really care what she has to say now. She was rude to me and so was her dh. I don't know what pi$$es me off more. Her rudeness or not reigning her husband in!

It's not like I call her all the time. I call her like once a month. I am not just anyone. I am her sister! Even if I was just anyone of her friends, he shouldn't have treated me like that. I'll bet he doesn't treat her friends or his friends, for that matter, like that because if he did, he wouldn't have any friends. I have never, ever liked him!

That was plain out rude!!! You should have made her tell you what she wanted when she called.

I'm sorry hon...sometimes family members seems so much like emenies(sp?)

Apparently, she got a new job. She can just talk to the hand now. i don't give a hoot about her new job. It's not my new job. Why should I care when she's going to act like that?! He can treat her like that and she may not do anything, but nobody NOBODY treats me that way! He acted like my dam* dad!

All that drama for a new job?

I get upset when people call so late (or early) when the girls go to bed - so most people know not to call us so late any more.

But gosh I wouldnt chew ya out if I left a message to call as soon as you get home and you do!

She has so many little quirks about calling her and has no respect for my schedule. If she wants to act like our parents, then I can treat her like them too. It's no skin off my nose if I don't talk to her. And you're right that is a lot of drama over a job offer. It's not like she needs the job, it's just something for fun anyway. But good grief don't call me with your drama queen crap like somebody died or something and then expect me not to take your words seriously. If you don't mean it, don't say it.
