What couldn't you live without when you child was newborn. We will be registering soon because the first shower will be early since it will be out of town. I know the basics that we need but I would like to hear what your favorite brands and products.

A bouncy chair that vibrated. Both of my kids loved them.

Burp cloths and bassinet/crib sheets! It's AMAZING how fast you run thru them and how little time you have to do laundry !

Co-sleeper if you're going to nurse. I loved it! Fischer Price Aquarium swing and Baby Bjorn.

i could not live with out my swing i had two to be exact. A large enough diaperbag . I nursed and the pump was something that i am glad i had also because there were nights it was nice to hand him to dad and say im taking a nap or a shower and if i really felt froggy i did both hehe. also i love the johnson and johnson little wash cloth things that had soap already on them when they are infants its enough to do the whole body and wash there hair (after the cord falls off that is) that way u dont have to take ur hands off the for even a sec and hooded towels are awsome but i hated that they were a little thin at times i like big fluffy towels . OHHH and a rocking chair and ottoman if u are asking for the big stuff . Also one of the stroller systems that way if baby is sleeping u can just take out the car seat and no need to wake him or her up

Both of my kids lived in their vibrating bouncers for the first 6 months of their lives. It was wonderful.

The other thing I would not have wanted to live without was the boppy pillow. It made nursing so much more comfortable and I could also use it when they were a teeny bit older to prop their chests up while laying on their stomachs.

Definately a co-sleeper. I didn't have one with Brandon and was always afraid I would roll over on him. It was the best investment. The bouncy seat and my life saver, Baby Bach tape. It was the only way DH and I got to eat dinner with out crying, the babies or me!

Swing! All my kids slept in the swing the first few weeks. It's a life saver....my favorite is the fisher price aquarium swing. I also used a bouncy chair...my kids never really like the vibrating part though.
