Using a word oddly

My dd is calling everything "owl". I have no clue what she's talking about most of the time. She has a stuffed animal owl Bridget gave her (which she loves btw, Bridget. ) but that's not always it. She just just goes around saying "owl, owl" all the time.

I'm glad she likes the owl....heheheh, mine disapeared about 10 minutes after we got home.
A lot of kids will find a word that they like and use it for everything......they like the way it sounds, the way it feels to form the word...whatever. She''ll eventually find another....just hope it's a harmless as owl!!!
Josh went through a faze where his favorite word was poop.
"what do you want to eat?"...poop......
"oh that is a nice puppy, what's his name?".....poop
"mommy I got my poop brush...." mommmy that a poop shirt..."

Needless to say I would have been very happy with "owl"!

I'm satisfied with owl. She goes around saying "potty poop" a great deal as well.

Sometimes they just get stuck on a word!
