We got a compliment the other day, that was really not too nice in a general sort of way. An old lady walked up to us in a restraunt and said, "Your child is quite well behaved unlike most children." And then proceeds to tell us her long rant against children in general - toddlers specificly. We didn't know quite how to take that because our dd plays under the table and throws fits in restraunts sometimes too and does all the things she was ranting about.
It was an odd sort of compliment. It just left us feeling like "okay, thanks, I guess. So you hate kids and believe children should been seen and not heard."
