Did your Dh ask permission, from your parents to marry you?

No and my dad was sad that he didnt. Not mad - just sad as I am his only daughter and he was raised that the Man should ask for the womans hand in marriage.

No, I am sure he didn't, but I think my brother in law asked my dad about my sister.

No. My dad wasn't really in my life much at the time, and my stepdad wasn't too fond of him until after we got married. He called and talked to my mom. She kind of knew it was coming, but he didn't ask her.

Nope. Seeing as he's half Jewish and they are incredibly prejudiced people, we didn't really care what they thought.

No Des didn't ask Dad. But my Step Mum asked my permission for my Dad's hand in marriage she proposed to him on Leap Day (but she made him propose to her as well she is one smart cookie)
