how can you tell if your going to have a boy or girl?

this month i should have my ultrasound. for some reason i feel like this time i might have a girl. i dont want to get my hopes to high but i feel thinner around my wasitline than i did when i was pregnant with Raymond and my tummy is pointing straight out. Although this pregnancy the first 2/3 months i was always feeling sick

Good question Diana! My U/S is on Tuesday coming up, but they won't tell us here. I know all of the techs there, so I'm hoping that I might get one that will give me a little hint, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Funny, I was just searching the net last night, looking for information on possible signs that it's a girl or boy. They were all pretty much old wives tales, that I think are a crock anyway.

Once I start feeling this baby actually kicking and turning over, other than just moving around, that will give me a better idea. So many things are pointing towards a girl, because they are the same as they were with Sydney and Livia. Except this time, there are a few new things thrown into the picture that I've never experienced before. So it's hard to tell.

I want to know so badly this time!!!! (whine, whine, whine)

Beats me, I thought for sure Justin was a girl. And he wasn't. This time, my pregnancy and symptoms have been completely different so I thought there was a chance, but no. So I have no clue. I have heard all the same wives tales, if you carry this way, its a girl, if you gain here, its a boy, if your sicker, its a girl, etc etc. I just think you carry the way you do regardless of what the sex is. Just depends on how your body reacts at that time.

Jennifer hit it on the nose! You can't tell without actually seeing. Every PG can be differant, all 3 of mine were and I have 3 boys.
