Whoops! I forgot about some because they are my dad's age. Add another five to that count. I have 18 first cousins.

My mother has 15 brothers and sisters and they all live in Alabama and breed like rabbits ... I have over 50 that I know of.

15 total but I only see the ones from my mom's brother. That's only 2 that I could call up on the phone. I don't even know where the ones from my Dad's 6 siblings are anymore, I used to.

Actually, no I don't have tons.
ZERO, not even ONE on my dad's side!
Only seven on my mom's side.
So not really very many at all.
My mom has one brother and four sisters.
My dad's twin brother was gay, and his other brother married late in life.

On my mom's side I have 21. And on my dad's side I have 14. But the total count only comes to 31 because there are 4 on each side that are the same (brothers married sisters) .

Um ... 1 on my dad's side and 3, make that 2 now on my mom's side. Funny thing is that my mom's family is (was) huge. My grandmother had 12 brothers and sisters so my mom has tons of cousins and my dad has quite a few cousins. I'm such a deprived child, aren't I? Family functions sure did suck since my cousins were my mom's age!

Sounds like we are in the same boat! Family functions sucked on my mom's side because they are all hillbillies with corn cobbs up their
My dad's family was great, and I loved not having any cousins to deal with given the kind I had on the other side!

Lets see, on my Dad's side there are 3 (and I think a step 1st cousin my Dads little sister - she's only 21 mnths older than me - is in a loving and committed relationship and her partner has a son who lives with them, so as her step son that makes me a step cousin ...doesn't it????)

Mum's side Ok this could take some figuring out, 5 + 0 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 3 + 2 = 22 (Oh yeah and then their was the sister no one new about until about 6 years ago and she has 2 kids as well) so that makes 24.

So 28 all together

Now if we are talking 2nd cousin, well now I can't count that high several of my cousins have 5 kids each (honest I've tried to tell them what causes it, but none of them will believe me )
