Last night was the wedding rehearsal....

Well, apparently it is an outside wedding on the Riverwalk. We (me, my parents) thought it was INSIDE the center, but why would we have a clue.

My HUGE concern for tonight is the kids have to come down this big concrete staircase and the wedding is at 7pm (total darkness). I asked the girl if it was going to be lit up (we practiced at 5:30, it was dusk). Her response? "Well everybody downstairs will have candles." How does that help anyone on the stairs? I am sure one of my kids is gonna fall. Anyway, it was a short practice, the bridesmaids were, um, shall I say, ready to go clubbing???

And if I have to look at my SIL-to-be's butt crack one more time I am going to scream. Either buy different jeans or wear a long shirt.

Wish me luck, pics will be on tomorrow!

Oh and I will be WAY overdressed. When this was all being planned, they made it sound like it was going to be quite an affair, and Biga's (the first place it was gonna be) is a formal place. So of course, I went and bought an expensive fabulous dress. No way I am not wearing it though!

Really! Good idea Becky. I would wear that dress and look beautiful and be happy!
On a serious note, I do hope your kids do okay going down the stairs.
Oh yeah, and are you going to have DH bring them McDonald's as you said before?

Well, since she didn't mention shoes, walking barefoot will make it so much easier to get down those stairs.

Of course we are still bringing McDonalds, my babies will be hungry. I told Billy he has to stand at the bottom of the stairs with the video camera, but he's really there to catch the kids when they fall.

Daddies are good for that kind of thing!

Personally I think you should run out and buy about 10 floor sized pillows and place at the bottom of the stairs .. coordinating colors with the wedding so not to clash

Good luck and have fun!!
