11/14 Newbie of the Week - Page 2

I love all these questions!!! I told my DH about it and he thought it was so neat.

Is it snowing where you live?It isn't snowing yet and I can't wait until it does! It's so nice to look out of my kitchen window at my back yard covered in snow. I just don't like driving in it.

Did you grow up around horses?I grew up with horses off and on. They've always been my favorite animal and once we're more financially secure we're going to get a couple.

What are you doing for Thanksgiving? For Thanksgiving we're going to my MIL's house and then my family is coming to our house the next day and we'll do another Thanksgiving on Saturday. We've done the same kind of thing with Christmas the last few years and it's great to have the holidays last more than one day!

are you online at work? or at home? or both?I'm online both at work and at home. I only work 15 hrs per week though so I'm not really online much when I'm there.

what time do you usually wake up and go to bed?I usually go to bed between 8 and 10 and am up in the morning around 5 or 6.

I didn't know Boyd's had a rooster! I'll have to check that one out!

so if the holidays last more than a day for you do you take part in 'black friday'?? i'm stil learning about this day as we dont' have it here in Canada.

i'm glad your dh thinks this is neat, i know we have all enjoyed getting to know you this week!

do you have turkey for all of your thanksgiving meals then? or what kind of variety?

I sometimes take part in Black Friday, but this year I have to work. The problem with Black Friday is that the stores are always mobbed so it becomes a bit of a challenge. It's great here in New Hampshire too because not only do the stores have big sales, but we also don't have to pay any sales tax!

Yes, we will have turkey for both Thanksgivings. I'm not sure what my MIL is getting, but my mother is bringing an organic turkey. I just hope she doesn't name it. She brought an organic chicken the last time she visited and she named him and I couldn't eat it.

Let's see.... what is there left to ask?

How many of the US states have you been to?

What's your favorite holiday?

Did you have a big wedding?

What kind of job do you have?

Did you have a big wedding?I'd say it was medium...just about 100 people

What kind of job do you have?I work part-time at an animal rescue organization doing mainly clerical work but also help out with the animals when neede. I love it!
