stepsis pregnant - not good news

My stepsister Desiree is 6 weeks pregnant. Very disturbing to find out because she is a heavy drug user, and a very unstable, violent type of person. The guy she "thinks" , but isn't positive, is the father is in a drug rehab four hours away, and was apparently a one night stand that she had met that night. To make it better, she is planning to move to where he is cuz he says he's going to take care of her and the baby - after he gets out of rehab, and oh yeah, possibly jail. He's going to court in a few weeks for beating his , get this, pregnant ex girlfriend and causing her to miscarry. I really truly fear for the safety of this baby. It is really sad to me to have to be so upset and worried about a new niece or nephew, instead of being able to be happy about it.

Tammy I am so sorry to hear this and yes you are right what a tragic not to be happy for you stepsis and the new baby. My heart goes out to you.
