I racked up at the grocery store tonight! Two of my stores were having awesome sales and I got sooo much for FREE or really, really cheap!

Randall's:
7 Reynolds Baking Cups 50ct - FREE
14 cans Swanson Broth - $0.10 each
9 cans Campbell's Gravy - FREE
13 Zatarains Ready Rice - FREE
13lb turkey - $4.82

Kroger:
2 Clorox Wipes - $2 ea
1 Clorox Bleach - FREE with wipes
9 Listerine PocketPacks - FREE
9 Pioneer Gravy mixes - FREE
6 Uncle Ben's Flavorful rice - FREE
2 Hungry Jack Easy Mashed potatoes - FREE
2 18pk eggs - $1 each

Too bad I had to buy all that other stuff that I had to actually pay for!

Did you try the Zatarains Ready Rice yet? We tried it and didn't really care for it.

Kroger and Randall's both double up to 50 cents and triple up to 39 cents. Most of those free items were on sale for $1.00 or less. I had 35 cent coupons (which tripled are worth $1.05) or 50 cent coupons (doubled to $1) - making those items free.

I also subscribe to a service that tells me the unadvertised specials at those stores and HEB. You have to pay for the service but I save 5X as much in one trip than it costs me per month, so it is really worth it.

wow! that is cool. I wish someone close to us doubled or tripled.

I did find out though that in Henderson, KY they do triple and double sometimes......so I guess I am going to have to figure out how to get there and find their stores

the lengths we go to save money

Nicole, I know a bunch of women who drive from Houston to Austin 2 or 3 times a year for the Albertson's Special Sale (when they double up to $1 and triple up to $0.50). From what I have seen them post about their savings, it is soooo worth the 2 hour drive. They take coolers and make several trips into the stores (since they will only let you use one coupon at a time per trip). They are getting hundreds of dollars worth of food for next to nothing! It would be worth looking into!
