My sister called not too long ago and said she was checking on flights to come home the Sunday after Thanksgiving and stay through Thursday. She said she wanted to be here for the surgery. I am not getting my hopes up or counting on it. If she comes, great, if not, that's fine too. I had already resigned myself to working it all out and being with Mom without her here.
