Hi all,
my name is Silja (pronounced like Celia), I am 31, manager of a concert venue and married to my lovely husband, 28, who is currently looking for work. We live in Dublin, Ireland in an appartment in the city center with three cats and three fish, though DH is originally from Arkansas.
My husband and I have been TTC since we got married in early July; this is our 6th cycle (AF just finished). I havea 26 day cycle and usually a 14 day luteal phase. I pay attention to CM, and usually get a little pain during O; I have used a OPK for one month, and will again this month.
Honestly, I thought TTC would be easier than it turned out to be- my mom got pregnant the day she came of BCP, and my friend who got married in May got pregnant on her wedding night (though unfortunately m/c at 12 weeks). I realise I am not that old, but I am still a bit worried about the age thing- but I had an informal chat with a doctor at work and she said no GP wouldn't even see me for fertility issues until we'd been trying for a year. Still, if I don't get pregnant this month, I might see if I can get an appointment.

to BabyU I really hope this is the month for you.
I've been TTC for 7 months now. I'm only 23, my husband is 30 next month, and I understand what you mean about getting pregnant quickly. I was also told that there won't be any ferility app until we've been TTC for 1 year. Good luck and I hope it happens for you soon. Can't wait to learn more about you.
TTC!
