I don't know quite what to make of this. Dd went potty in the tiolet this morning, but the next time I took her she didn't go. Since she hasn't been to bed today.( Long story. And not at all interesting. ) I gave her a pull up and told her if she had an accident to put it on because I thought I might fall asleep. I kept asking her if she had to go, and she said no. Then she put on her pull up and went in it. I don't know quite what to make of that. :hmm@: Is this progress or not?

I know my DD, who is a few months older than Kate, is finally peeing in the potty regularly and without accidents but she still wants a pull-up to poop in. And if we tell her to wear a pull-up for whatever reason, she's perfectly fine to pee in it but she wants it changed as soon as she does. So, I'd say at least your DD recognizes when she has to go and that's a big step. Just take it day-by-day and see how it goes. Keep encouraging her to use the potty but if she wants a pull-up, at least it's better than having to clean the floor!

i agree, she is realizing what she is doing anyhow right?

we are still hit and miss as well
