DH and I just can't agree. Last night we batted these back and forth:

Me: Matthew Ryan
DH: NO

DH: Trevor
Me: NO

We rarely call Aidan and Ryan by their names anyway- who needs a name? just use a nickname !

BUT I have to say I like Matthew Ryan ..... our Ryan is Ryan Matthew!

Dina, I thought Matthew Ryan had a nice flow to it. Dh is just being stubborn here! I mean I am the one all misshapen and uncomfortable, I should get any name I want!

Maybe it will just end up that way though- that you get what you want

With us, I had Aidan picked out - DH thought it was 'ok' but wasnt on his yes list ... then we went to the ultrasound and found out it WAS a boy ... and I said , so can I tell everyone its Aidan?> So I didn't give him a huge amount of time to think about it... and he said yes ...

Yeah, we don't really call Hayley by her first name either, we just call her bubba. I like Matthew Ryan I went to school with a guy with this name (Ryan was his surname).

I love the name Matthew!
When I was pregnant, DH told me that I could pick the name since I had to have the baby. I did consult with him, and I wouldn't have picked something he hated. He wanted Emily's middle name to be Brianna, and I vetoed that.

Ask the boys what names they like..

Thats how Dylan's name came about- We told Austin that there was a baby in mommys belly and he asked if he was going to have a baby "Dill".. surprises me how Austin actually named Dylan

We picked out names before I even got pregnant. I still like the James option - very manly. What about Joseph? What's not to like about good ole Joe?

Robyn, did Austin watch alot of RugRats, that is the babies name isn't it? Dill Pickles??

Austin liked Rugrats! DIll Pickles is his name.. so we turned it into Dylan

I like Ryan too! I like Matthew Ryan..
