Makes about 1/3 cup

Freeze: Up to 1 month

Ingredients:
1 medium ripe pear, peeled, cored, and chopped
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Place the pear and water in a small saucepan. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until very tender. Cool mixture. Puree mixture using a food mill, baby food grinder, blender, or small food processor. Use within 1 day, or freeze up to 1 month. Makes about 1/3 cup.
To Freeze: Spoon finished food into ice cube trays. Cover with waxed paper and freeze until firm. When ice cube are frozen, remove cubes from tray and store in a resealable plastic freezer bag or freezer container. Label package with contents and date. Use within 1 month. Before serving, let thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
