Anti E Postive. Need some info regarding this.

I found out last week that i am anti E postive. I was tested before hand it never showed up until now. What is this anti e body in my blood cells. He informed me he will be watching me close. Getting alot of blood work an ultrasounds in some cases can lead to heart failure. I dont know how to react to this. or were i got it from. it scares me need some reassureness.

i'm unfamiliar with this. I hope someone has some info for you.
I think a friend of mine had this and she was just monitored...she never used the name though so i am not sure

I hope so.

It is very scary knowing that could be health problems leading to heart failure an some other stuff. Thanks Andrea : ))

I'm so sorry, Shirley. I know that Meagan has had some heart problems during pregnancy. Maybe she will have some information for you. That must be so scary.

I know exactly how it feels to worry about your unborn child without the added concern of it being a high risk pregnancy.
Sounds like your OB is going to keep a close eye on things, so everything should be ok. Sometimes the babies need a blood transfusion in utero or straight after the birth.
I know it's all scarey, but with the right care things should work out fine

I have never heard of the condition. Sorry. I hope someone can help. It sounds like you have a good OB who is watching you closely.

It is very scary for me. Ive never been a high risk pregnacy like this. My 10 yr old son come into the world. Only problem i had with him was a very long labor. Ive been searching on the net for all the info. Still isnt a enough to comfort me an set my worry's aside. So were is everyone from? I love to meet to people an chat with them. Im from lethbridge, alberta canada.

I'm from Australia, maybe we could meet up? just catch a plane make a left turn and go straight for 12 hours

There are plenty of Canadians here, but most are from USA

Thats a long ways. I bet it's really pretty there with all that water surrounding you. Here is just mountains endless farm land. That would be neat if all the people met on here. met in reallife. that would be pretty good.

Actually Australia is the same size as the USA but nowhere near as populated. It's 80% desert which is why hardly anyone lives here. The majority lives along the coast line, but I'm further inland. I live at the bottom of a mountain

That is a awsome baby web page. I've always wondered what it looked like there. Whis xmas like there? Does the city get all decorated? Are you all ready for christmas? Looks like we get a white christmas this year. Been snowing all day.

Thanks Worried Mother, I haven't updated it in a while though, so i'm surised it's still active

Christmas is tha same here as in Canada. The only difference is there's no snow We have all the decorations etc (infact we put the tree up today and sprayed fake snow pictures on the windows ) Instead of having a hot Christmas dinner or lunch, we have shrimp, cray fish, cold chicken or turkey and ice-cream. Basically we have Summer food for Christmas. Poor Santa gets pretty sweaty and hot in that suit over here. We've had a few Santa's drop dead from heat exhaustion I shouldn't laugh..sorry

I also tried looking that up on the internet, but couldn't find anything. When you go back to the dr sit down with him/her and just ask what exactly is this...what should you expect...will it cause complications during delivery.

You might want to PM Megan and ask her some questions. She might not be on-line when this topic is in the new posts. She lives in Korea so there is a time difference.

I hope everything goes smoothly for you...keep us updated.

I have heart issues but it does not relate to antibodies which I believe is what you may have. From what I looked at online it has to do with something in the blood. I have a congenital heart defect that caused complications with my pregnancies. I would write down any questions you have for your doctor and make sure and ask.
